AI Software Development and Risk Management Intern

We are seeking an intern with a passion for AI and software development, and an interest in financial risk management, to contribute to our innovative projects. This role offers the chance to work on real-world applications of AI in the financial sector, integrating risk analysis and management in our solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions, focusing on large language models.
  • Participate in front-end development and backend integration, including API handling.
  • Engage in learning and staying updated with the latest technologies in AI and software development.
  • Engage in analytical modeling focusing on the development and validation of financial risk models, as well as valuation models.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of risk models and stress testing models for various risks including credit, market, IRRBB, counterparty credit, liquidity, ESG, and operational risks.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python programming (or R, SAS).
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, large language models.
  • Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (Flask, JavaScript) and database management with SQL (considered a plus).
  • Academic knowledge in mathematics/probabilities, especially for risk management (considered a plus).

Educational requirements:

Current or recent students in computer science, AI, mathematics, physics, econometrics, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Additional coursework or projects in finance or risk management are highly regarded.
